Batman composer and Avengers conductor added to Game Music Connect 2015

Game Music Connect has revealed the final speakers for its third annual international video game music conference.

Rocksteady Studios’ resident Batman composer/audio director Nick Arundel (Batman: Arkham Knight, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Asylum) and renowned conductor Allan Wilson (Fable and Harry Potter video game series, Avengers: Age of Ultron) will join Sony Computer Entertainment America’s director of music, Chuck Doud and COOL Music CEO/composer agent, Darrell Alexander, for a roundtable discussion on recording live orchestra for video games: Score To Studio 2.

Other sessions at the 2015 event include: a keynote from Sony Computer Entertainment America’s Chuck Doud; an interview with key music/audio creatives behind the award-winning Alien Isolation; insights from the core team at orchestral sample library creators Spitfire Audio; an exclusive appearance from Project Morpheus music pioneers discussing their work on music for VR; and a unique, world exclusive screening of the video game sound and music documentary BEEP: Big in Japan, featuring composers Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy and Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts).

Game Music Connect returns to The Purcell Room at London’s Southbank Centre on September 15.
