Underground music platform Boiler Room is to host a series of live events with hostel chain Generator, reports Event.
The eight-month series will begin in Berlin on July 30, bringing together a selection of underground artists including Soundstream, Max Graef and Session Victim to perform at a range of unusual locations such as Generator’s rooftops, lobbies and penthouses.
“It’s great to announce our partnership with Generator, which we have been planning for some time,” said Boiler Room’s chief commercial officer Mazdak Sanii (pictured). “We’re excited to work with their great locations and take Boiler Room to cities we haven’t been to before, showcasing to our global audience the depth of exciting things happening in local music scenes around Europe.”
Boiler Room will programme, curate and produce parties, listening events and live sessions into 2016.
Fans across Europe will be able to register for the events, which will also be live-streamed online and available to watch on demand afterwards.
Generator CEO Fredrik Korallus added: “Music, art and culture are at core of Generator and we make a conscious effort to work with young, local talent in all our cities, both for events and content creation.
“With this exciting collaboration we step up our game, partnering with a renowned music institution like Boiler Room to continue using our hospitality spaces in the most innovative ways.”
