Kartel Music Group’s publishing arm has signed a sub-publishing deal with Argentinian label ZZK Records.
The deal will see Kartel cover future releases from ZZK, including Nicolá Cruz’s forthcoming Prender el Alma album.
Grant Dull, founder of ZZK, said: “We are extremely excited to be partnering with Kartel Music and looking forward to our music spreading far and wide. There’s a whole new crop of producers and musicians from Latin America and we’ll continue to back the newest and best and get their music heard.”
Paula Durán (pictured), publishing and sync manager at Kartel Music, added: “It is an honor to unify forces with ZZK and work their existing catalogue strategically while creatively assisting to achieve innovative licensing, new collaborations and synchronisation deals.“
The South American label covers contemporary Latin-American music, with acts like Frikstailers, La Yegros, Tremor, and Chancha Via Circuito.
ZZK is the latest label to join forces with Kartel for sub-publishing alongside the likes of Soundway Records and Mais Um Discos.
