Madonna announces first tour since 2012

Madonna has announced a 35-city tour of North America and Europe in support of her forthcoming Rebel Heart album.

Produced by Live Nation Global Touring, the tour will begin at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida, on August 29 and visit cities such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago,Philadelphia, Boston, Vancouver, Montreal and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The European leg will start in Koln, Germany, on November 4, with UK dates to include The O2 in London on December 1, Manchester Arena on December 14 and Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena on December 16, culminating at The SSE Hydro in Glasgow on December 20.

“Madonna continues to be one of the most successful touring artists in history – her shows are legendary and we are thrilled to have her going back on tour,” said Arthur Fogel, Live Nation’s president of global touring and chairman – global music.

Tickets go on sale on Monday March 9.
