A new conference has launched to explore the relationship between city planning, strategy, development and the music industry.
Music Cities Convention will take place on May 13, 2015 at the Komedia Theatre, Brighton ahead of The Great Escape, having been launched by TGE co-founder Martin Elbourne and global music market development agency, Sound Diplomacy.
Confirmed speakers so far for the event include Mark Dafyd, CEO, Music Venues Trust, Martin Elbourne, Amy Terrill, VP research and industry relations, Music Canada and author of Music Cities and David Grice, CEO Musitec Creative Cluster Development, South Australia.
The convention will also mark the launch of the Music Cities Bugle, an online compendium of research, analysis, reports and news concerning music industry development and cities. This will be available to all ticket holders and consist of a bi-monthly newsletter, blog and social media presence compiling the most extensive databank of global policy reports.
