Roc Nation Music has partnered with Barclays Center for a multi-year ‘business alliance’.
The deal sees Roc Nation artists perform at the New York venue, as well as festivals, emerging artist showcases, and Tidal events.
Jay Z himself will also perform annually. The rapper and Tidal owner was the first artist to perform at the 19,000-capacity venue, kicking off a sold-out eight night residency to celebrate its opening from September 28, 2012.
“We’ve been fortunate that many of Roc Nation’s top artists, such as Jay, Rihanna, and Kanye West have performed at Barclays Center and this alliance only further solidifies our great relationship,” said Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark (pictured).
“We’re thrilled to continue to bring exciting entertainment to Brooklyn and are proud that Roc Nation Music is calling Barclays Center home.”
Artists on Roc Nation’s roster that could perform at the arena in the future include Rihanna, Haim, Rita Ora, Timbaland and Grimes.
