Digital media and design college Ravensbourne has announced a “first of its kind” partnership with The O2.
The partnership will see the higher education college promote its offering and the work of its 1,900 students throughout the London venue. Both institutions are based on the Greenwich Peninsula and will work together to provide internships, job opportunities, creative collaborations and mentoring to students.
“This partnership is the first of its kind between a venue and a higher educational institution and we are excited about the opportunities it presents for both students and ourselves,” said The O2’s VP of global partnerships Nathan Kosky.
“Ravensbourne wants to raise its brand profile and using The O2 is the perfect way to reach 10 million people annually on site and millions more through our digital channels.
Many students have already found employment opportunities at the venue and teams from Ravensbourne have produced a range of digital content for the arena.”
Ravensbourne director Linda Drew added: “It is fantastic for our students as it will provide a range of benefits including opportunities for working with The O2 in job shadowing, internships and work mentoring.”
